To be apart of this mission trip was such a blessing. 


BRI invites you to join us for an upcoming projects, to experience His transforming power of giving self for others. Volunteers are blessed in serving others and are transformed in the process. We give God all the glory for what He has given us for a time such as this.

We began our project in Las Vegas in faith completely underfunded for the building effort of the project. God was glorified! BRI was able to donate over $30,000 in labor and materials.

God has done it again!  During the Aug. 20-25 Build and Restore International (BRI) mission trip to the Soquel campgrounds, God worked out some amazing miracles.

When God's people pray, God hears their prayer! It wasn't long ago that a small group of believers began to pray for a new church building. They were meeting in a small house that they had been renting out to hold church services. Church members came together and began to pray for God to send someone that could help them finish the church building.

I know that as the school continues to grow as the result of the school building expansion, God's love will be shared with the new students that will be attending this school. The Lord is doing a great work in the town of Corozal and will continue to bless the staff and the students as we pray for their needs and do our part in serving the people of Belize.

With much prayer and the help of my host family and friends, the Lord provided all the pieces of the puzzle that I needed to begin drafting the mission, vision, and goals of BRI.

When we arrived at Cow Market, we didn’t see anyone there. I was not sure what to think. An empty stage with one small light bulb that was crowded with flies and mosquitos. Empty cold metal chairs scattered around the stage. “Surely this couldn’t be our venue”, I said to myself. Who will want to come here? I began to ask the translator, “Where are the people?”

God in His wisdom and perfect timing, had been working in a small church community in Lincoln, CA. The church members had been praying. God was leading and the time for us to go yet on another mission trip was soon approaching.

We saw how the Lord blessed our efforts and I believe that seeds were planted. Our total attendance was around 240 students’ ages 9 to 16 years old. As we came towards the final few days of our week of Prayer meetings, we made an appeal for baptisms. There were some that had already been studying the Bible. It was a wonderful moment of celebration when 19 young people made the decisions to follow Jesus though the waters of baptism.

Over 1,500 people filled the grand hall on opening night. The Lord was moving in a mighty way on the hearts of the people. It was such a blessing to see seeds being planted in the hearts of men and women who came to hear the word of God.

It was now the end of summer and we still didn’t have a mission project secured. We began to pray more for God to show us where to go next.

Upon our arrival, we saw that the need was great. The church building was half built. There were no doors, windows, or lights. The mud and rock at the entrance to the church made it difficult to enter the church property. It was a tripping hazard and the mud ended up all over the church floor.

As I look back on this outreach mission project, I see how God was taking care of all the details to allow me to experience firsthand what it’s like to share Christ on the streets of Europe. When we step out in faith, His grace and mercy is sufficient for us even in Europe.

As I look back, I see how the Lord blessed our efforts and gave us the strength to do His work. To be His hands and feet. We felt His unmeasurable grace and mercy as we labored together to share the Gospel with the people of Mazumiapan.

Our work was great, but the Lord was with us every step of the way and we were able to build and provide the much needed school building to help the Central American Bible School with its needs. When we allow for God to increase and we decrease, He is able to work miracles in our life today.

We heard so many wonderful stories how the Lord was able to bring people into the church that were hurting and struggling with different addictions and temptations. It was such a blessing to share this time with the people of Holbrook.

We began praying and asking the Lord to open the door for another opportunity to serve in Mexico. It was our desire to find another service project that we could go and volunteer as a team.

Serving means being challenged, being humbled and being found by God for the good and benefit of others.
