Build and Restore International (BRI) understands the ever-growing demand for more schools is greater then it’s ever been. Many countries are struggling with an ever increasing demand for affordable and practical school buildings and facilities to send their children. The need is great for school buildings that will serve the purpose to provide a safe and comfortable learning environment.Today, to have an opportunity to send a child to a local school is a luxury. Therefore, building a school in a local town or village means hope for a brighter future for students and teachers alike. More importantly, an opportunity to learn means a better and brighter future for the community as a whole. BRI wants to partner together with ordinary people who love the Lord to build extra ordinary schools for children of all ages.
Quality Christian education is one of the strengths of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Many children have received excellent educational foundation to start of their life on the right foot and to live a better life. The growing demand for Christian education and school facilities means that less and less children are able to get a Christian education. There simply isn’t enough schools to accommodate the demand. In many parts of the world, existing school buildings are in need of much restoration. In some areas, there are no christian schools.
BRI believes building and restoring schools is part of the mission experience. We have witnessed the incredible impact that a quality education can have on a child and their family. Quality Christian education is a powerful tool to share the love of Jesus Christ with the community. A Christian education can help to heal a broken home. Children who attend a Christian school are less likely to be involved in violence, alcoholism, drugs, or other forms of abuse. Christian education is a powerful tool for a brighter tomorrow.
